Jitsu wa Ore, Saikyou deshita - Episode 9

In Episode 9 of "Jitsu wa Ore, Saikyou deshita" titled "The Entrance Ceremony Hullabaloo," Haruto is informed that he must take an aptitude test before the academy's enrollment ceremony. Initially reluctant, he decides to intentionally fail the test to avoid attending the ceremony. During the exam, he encounters Tearietta Luseiannel, a young professor specializing in ancient magic. Despite his attempts to fail, his answers impress Tearietta, who decides to take him under her wing.

Meanwhile, a copy of Haruto, meant to attend the enrollment ceremony in his place, faces challenges. He meets Schneidel, the academy's vice president, who demands a duel. The copy manages to escape but is later rescued by Shiva, a mysterious enforcer of justice. Shiva confronts Schneidel about his misdeeds, such as brawling and harassing students, and punishes him by placing a magical restraint on him.

Back at the academy, the original Haruto learns of the events and finds them amusing. Tearietta continues to pursue him, wanting to involve him in her research. The episode ends with a preview of the next installment, hinting at the introduction of the "Demon King."
