Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a prequel focusing on the character Okkotsu Yuta. The story begins with the situation where Okkotsu's childhood friend Rika has transformed into a curse. Since Rika does not manifest as an ordinary curse, Satoru Gojo, a teacher at Jujutsu High—a school where aspiring exorcists learn how to combat curses—takes notice of his plight.
The trailer starts with the announcement of the "Hyakki Yakou" by the worst curse master, Natsuyu Jie, and how Otokotsu decides to exorcise Rika's curse. The video also includes a preview of the title song "Itto" (The Only Way) by King Gnu.
The film is set to release in Japanese theaters on December 24.
