The twelfth and final episode delivers an exciting conclusion to the Oriana arc. The episode begins with the aftermath of Queen Reina and Perv Asshat's deaths and the activation of the Black Rose. Alpha remains unfazed, trusting in Lord Shadow's (Cid) abilities.

At Rose's wedding, unbeknownst to many, members of Shadow Garden were present. They reveal themselves to Mordred and demonstrate their overwhelming strength. The Garden members act swiftly to minimize casualties in the capital by battling the unleashed beasts. Before Cid joins the fight against Ragnarok, he encourages Rose to defend her people, which she does courageously.

Meanwhile, Mordred faces Beta and Epsilon. Beta, an elf, is particularly angered by Mordred's use of stolen elven artifacts. They attempt to extract information from him. At the same time, Rose encounters Margaret after defeating a monster. Though she has no time for formalities, Margaret acknowledges Rose as queen.

Cid relishes his battle against Ragnarok, comparing it to a fantasy game. Despite his defeat, Mordred remains convinced of Ragnarok's destructive power. He reveals details about the Cult's belief in multiple dimensions and realms, hinting at the origins of magic and magical creatures. This revelation also suggests how Cid came to this world.

In a spectacular moment, a fragment of the defeated Ragnarok crushes Mordred. The victorious Shadow (Cid) watches as 559 announces the elimination of all monsters in the city. Ragnarok is vanquished, the apocalypse averted. Yet, Mordred transforms into an even more powerful form. Shadow effortlessly overpowers him, launches him into orbit, and then delivers a monologue about summoning lightning from the sky.

The episode reaches its climax when Cid responds to Mordred's question about his identity: "I am Atomic." The ensuing explosion lights up the sky, leaving everyone who knows Shadow in awe.

After the battle, Shadow is unexpectedly pulled into a portal created by his attack, leaving his allies and Queen Rose behind. The episode shifts to a dystopian Tokyo, where Nishino Akane, a character from the first episode, reappears. She finds herself in danger but is saved by Shadow, who has returned to his original world.
