In this episode, tensions between Mitsugoshi and the Major Corporate Alliance (MCA) escalate. Cid, now going by the name John Smith, reveals himself as a secret agent aiming to manipulate the conflict between the two economic giants for his own benefit. He devises an elaborate plan to counterfeit the MCA's new currency, triggering a financial crisis to his advantage.

Meanwhile, the MCA, led by Garter and Gettan, the Sword Devil, is also plotting to bring down Mitsugoshi. They plan to deploy the Clovers, a group of elite assassins, to steal Mitsugoshi's trade secrets. Gettan proves to be a ruthless leader, emphasizing to Garter the importance of following his orders.

Cid reflects on how Mitsugoshi's aggressive business strategies, inspired by knowledge from his past life, led to the current conflict. He notes that Mitsugoshi has even issued its own paper currency, which is now widely accepted. This leads him to craft a counterfeiting scheme to exploit people's lack of trust in paper money.

Delta, a Therian and one of Cid's allies, also appears in this episode. She is shown hunting bandits under Alpha's orders. Delta encounters Zabra, her own brother, who works for Gettan. She kills him, justifying her actions by stating that weaklings bring shame upon their family.

The episode ends with a sense of impending conflict.
