A new preview trailer has been released for the second season of the anime adaptation of "Kaijū 8-gō" (English: Kaiju No. 8) by Naoya Matsumoto, focusing on the "Bunkui-toge Annihilation Operation".

The released trailer shows the complex emotions that Gen Narumi harbors towards Reno Ichikawa after he was selected as the user of the Number 6 weapon - one of the most powerful and dangerous weapons in the arsenal. Additionally, scenes from the nineteenth episode titled "The Wall" were revealed.

In this episode, Reno Ichikawa faces his first real combat action after overcoming the probation period imposed on him by Unit-4 Commander Jūgo Ogata. In the process, the identified Kaiju weapon is used for the first time.

The plot of the series follows Kafka Hibino, who has transformed into a monster, but still fights alongside the Defense Force to protect humanity. The second season shows Kafka's struggle with his overwhelming power as Kaiju No. 8 and the threats that further pressure the already unsettled Defense Force.
