Kaina of the Great Snow Sea (Ōyukiumi no Kaina) will receive a continuation in the form of an animated film, although no further details have been announced. The anime will air in Japan on January 11 and will be streamed on Crunchyroll. Polygon Pictures is producing the series, with Hiroaki Ando directing, Sadayuki Murai and Tetsuya Yamada writing the script, and Ryōhei Fukushi and Kyoko Kotani adapting Nihei's character designs for animation.
