Kamiina Botan, The Figure in the Evening is a Lily Flower: Anime Adaptation with Sayumi Suzushiro

The TV series "Kamiina Botan, Yoeru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana" (Kamiina Botan, whose drunken appearance resembles a lily flower) based on the original work by Hei will begin its broadcast in April 2026. In the lead role of Kamiina Botan, Sayumi Suzushiro is heard.

Botan is a first-year student who received her admission after a waiting period and now lives in a dormitory. During this time, she gradually discovers her preference for alcoholic beverages. In a drunken state, she tends to make unexpectedly open statements, which regularly amazes her surroundings.

Suzushiro commented on her role with the words that she finds both the manner of expression of the slightly drunken character and the special atmosphere and emotional nuances of the interactions particularly appealing. Likewise, she mentioned the elaborately designed everyday clothing of the character and the various alcoholic beverages that play a role in the course of the plot.

For the introduction of the main character, a visual representation as well as an introductory video were released. Over a period of six weeks, additional characters and their respective voice actors will be announced weekly.
