The episode begins with the aftermath of Mitama reviving the dead, as she claims to be a goddess. Yukito tries to make sense of the situation and wonders how he can protect the village from the consequences of the event. Mitama explains that her power depends on the number of her followers, which is currently at zero.

Yukito decides to start a religion to gather followers for Mitama and asks the villagers, including Roy and Alural, for help. Yukito plans to convince people to follow Mitama through speeches and miracles. However, since Mitama's powers are currently limited, Yukito resorts to psychological tricks like the Barnum effect to make the villagers believe in her.
