The TV anime "Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri," based on the original work by Akira Amano, has announced a new cast member. Kohmi Ohara will play the role of Chicory Monki, an enthusiastic weekly magazine reporter who idolizes the character Toto.

Chicory Monki, played by Kohmi Ohara, is a journalist for the weekly magazine "Lime." She independently investigates unsolved cases and impossible crimes and admires Toto, who solves these difficult puzzles almost like a hero. Ohara expressed her excitement, noting that she doesn’t often get the chance to appear in mystery stories and is looking forward to the broadcast.

The synopsis for the 10th episode, titled "The Poisoned Café Latte Murder Case," has also been released. In this episode, Toto agrees to an interview with Chicory and goes to a café with her, where they meet Ron at work. Ron realizes that Chicory is a crime reporter and tries to win her over as a potential information source. However, a crime then occurs in the café. The episode also features scenes with Chicory.

"Kamonohashi Ron's Forbidden Deduction" tells the story of Ron Kamonohashi, a young man who was once the top student at the world's leading detective school, BLUE, but had his detective license revoked after an incident. The series also follows Toto, or Totomaru Isshiki, who is seen as a burden by the Metropolitan Police's First Investigative Division. Yohei Azakami voices Ron, and Junya Enoki plays Toto.
