New details have emerged regarding the planned anime adaptation of the manga series "Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi" by Nonco. A released key visual shows the seven main characters in different settings, representing both the demonic and the human worlds.

The plot of the romantic comedy revolves around high school student Sogy Yohji and the demon Kanan. She visits the human world specifically to consume young and sweet souls. Her path crosses that of the youth, leading to the signing of a love contract.

Two groups provide the musical framework: The girl band Faulieu performs the opening theme "Hatsukoi Moment". The ending theme "Pop Snack Junk na HUNNY" is performed by the VTuber group Aogiri High School. Commenting videos and messages are also available from both performers.

The source material, the manga, is published in "Weekly Shonen Magazine". Studio KAI is in charge of the production of the anime series.
