Kanchigai No Kōbōnushi-Eiyū Party No Moto Zatsuyō-Gakari GA, Jitsu Wa Sentō Igai Ga SSS Rank Datta to iu Yoku Aru Hanashi receives an anime adaptation in April

The anime adaptation of Kanchigai no Kōbōnushi - Eiyū Party no Moto Zatsuyō-gakari ga, Jitsu wa Sentō Igai ga SSS Rank Datta to Iu Yoku Aru Hanashi will premiere in April. Alongside the TV broadcast, the series will also be available on various streaming platforms. A newly released promo video introduces additional voice actors and offers a first look at key scenes from the series.

Newly announced cast members include:

- Mimiko, a noble court mage who runs a magic item shop in the capital, voiced by Hisako Kanemoto.

- Ophelia, a renowned Kōbōnushi (workshop master) who shelters Lieselotte—the third princess of the Homuro Kingdom and an admirer of Kurt—voiced by Rie Tanaka.

The story is based on the novel by Yosuke Tokino and follows Kurt, a young man dismissed as "useless" from a hero’s party. However, what his former comrades don’t know is that Kurt possesses SSS-rank abilities in all non-combat skills, making him exceptionally talented in everything except fighting. The series blends fantasy, humor, and adventure as Kurt carves out a new path in life.

The anime adaptation is directed by Hisashi Ishii, with series composition handled by Deko Akao. Animation production is by EMT Squared. The main cast includes:
