"Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru": Key visual, first trailer and additional speakers revealed

The upcoming TV anime adaptation of "Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru" has released its first key visual and trailer, along with announcing new voice actors.

The first key visual depicts the protagonist Beryl being led by the hand by Alucia and Serena, while he appears somewhat surprised. In the background, Cluny and Fissel watch the scene with smiles, framed by an idyllic rural landscape.

The newly announced voice actors include:

- Chiwa Saito as Lucy Diamond, the head of the Magic Division of the Kingdom of Rebellis.

- Kaito Ishikawa as Hemblitz Draught, the deputy commander of the Rebellio Knights.

The first trailer showcases Beryl's journey to the capital, encounters with former students, and meetings with new companions. The trailer also offers a first glimpse of the new voice actors' performances.

The series is based on the novel by Shigeru Sagazaki and tells the story of Beryl, a middle-aged swordsmanship instructor who once aspired to become a master swordsman. "Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru" is a classic fantasy tale about a swordsman making a name for himself in his world.
