Netflix announced on Wednesday that the second season of the anime adaptation of the manga "Kengan Ashura" by Yabako Sandrovich will premiere on the streaming platform in September. The upcoming season will showcase the finale of the Kengan Annihilation Tournament and the conclusion of the original story.
"Kengan Ashura" made its worldwide debut on Netflix in July 2019. The second part, consisting of episodes 13 to 24, was released in October of the same year. The manga won a fan competition in 2015, which led to the creation of the anime adaptation.
Seiji Kishi directed at Larx Entertainment, Makoto Uezu was responsible for the series composition, and Kazuaki Morita designed the characters.
