Kenja no Deshi wo Nanoru Kenja announces release date for January 2022

Kenja no Deshi wo Nanoru Kenja (She Professed Herself Pupil of the Wise Man) has revealed details about its premiere on its official channels, including that the series will debut in January 2022 after its originally planned 2021 release was delayed. The published video clip also introduces the anime voice of the protagonist Mira for the first time, performed by Nichika Omori (Yurine Hanazono in Dropkick on My Devil!).



The teaser also confirms the involvement of Funimation as a co-producer of the anime adaptation of Hirotsugu Ryusen's light novels, guaranteeing a simultaneous release in the West on the platform.

In the production team, Keitaro Motonaga (Date A Live) serves as director, while Takamitsu Kouno is in charge of writing and overseeing the script, and Kumi Horii adapts the original character designs for the series.

Seven Seas publishes both the light novel and manga and describes the story as follows:
