Key visual, first promo video, concept film and further cast for TV anime "Ao no Miburo" revealed

The TV anime "Ao no Miburo," based on the original work by Tsuyoshi Yasuda, has revealed its key visual, first promotional video, concept film, and 11 additional cast members.

The key visual features the members of Miburo in their iconic haori with the distinctive "Dandara" pattern, symbolizing the Shinsengumi. The visual captures the determined gaze of the young protagonist, Nio. The first trailer showcases numerous new scenes and introduces the series' plot. The concept film, accompanied by the theme song composed by Yuki Hayashi and lyrics by rapper OZworld, summarizes the world of the anime.

The promotional video sets the story in Kyoto during the Bakumatsu era and focuses on the youthful adventures of the Shinsengumi. The story begins with the cheerful and ever-smiling boy, Chirinu Nio, who encounters the strongest swordsman group, Miburo, who would later become known as the Shinsengumi.
