The upcoming original anime film "Kimi no Iro," directed by Naoko Yamada, has announced additional cast members, including comedian Yasuko, who is making her debut as a voice actress, as well as Aoi Yuki, Minako Kotobuki, and Keiko Toda.

The newly revealed characters include the warm-hearted roommates whom the protagonist Totsuko calls "Forest Sisters," and the grandmother of a girl Totsuko meets. Yasuko voices the cheerful and strong-willed Saku, Aoi Yuki plays the quirky Shio, and Minako Kotobuki voices the friendship-seeking Sumika. Keiko Toda portrays Shino Sakanaga, the grandmother who is unaware of her granddaughter Kimi's school troubles.

Yasuko expressed her excitement and nervousness about her first voice acting role, mentioning that she had long harbored a desire to try voice acting. She also shared her enthusiasm about working with director Yamada, the creator of the popular "K-On!" series, calling this opportunity a dream come true.

"Kimi no Iro," set to release in theaters on August 30, tells the story of the student Totsuko, who sees people as "colors." The plot follows her journey in a band with the radiant Kimi and music-loving Rui as they overcome personal struggles through music.
