“Kimi no Iro” – New scene excerpts and trailer released

The original animated film "Kimi no Iro" by director Naoko Yamada has released new scene clips and a trailer.

The scene clips feature various characters from the film: Totsuko Higurashi looking up and observing something; Kimi Sakanaga standing frozen in her school uniform; Rui Kagehira playing the theremin; and Sister Hiyoshiko gazing forward with determination.

The new trailer showcases characters voiced by previously announced actors such as Yasuko and Aoi Yūki. It highlights the growing bond between Totsuko, Kimi, and Rui as they focus on their band activities. The trailer also features moments of Totsuko dancing joyfully.

"Kimi no Iro," set to release in theaters on August 30, is a coming-of-age story about student Totsuko, who perceives people through colors. The story follows Totsuko as she meets Kimi, a girl who radiates beautiful colors, and Rui, a boy passionate about music. Together, they immerse themselves in their band activities while revealing their personal struggles. Sayu Suzukawa voices Totsuko, Akari Takaishi voices Kimi, and Taisei Kido voices Rui.
