Kingdom Season 5: Main Video Released and New Cast Members Announced

The 5th season of the TV anime "Kingdom," based on the manga by Yasuhisa Hara, has released its main promotional video. The new series will feature Kentaro Miyake as General Ma Cheng of the Zhao army and Keihisa Kawahara as Liu Dong.

The video showcases the thrilling soundtrack by Hiroyuki Sawano and KOHTA YAMAMOTO, as well as the opening theme "Dōka" by DeNeel. Kentaro Miyake, the voice actor for Ma Cheng, expressed his excitement for the role and highlighted the character's combat skills. Keihisa Kawahara, who voices Liu Dong, commented on the deep convictions and trust between the characters and shared his enthusiasm for portraying Liu Dong's beliefs and camaraderie.

The 5th season of "Kingdom," which will air on NHK General TV at midnight on January 6, 2024, promises to deliver an intense story. At its core is the battle for the Heiyang Mountains, a natural fortress in the Zhao kingdom, marking a pivotal moment in the Qin kingdom's quest to unify China.
