Fuji TV's Noitamina block aired the first promotional video for the TV anime adaptation of Jun Mayuzuki's "Koi wa Ameagari no You ni" manga on Thursday. The video previews the ending theme song "Ref: rain" by Aimer (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, No. 6, Terror in Resonance),

The anime will premiere in January 2018 on Fuji TV and other networks. Ayumu Watanabe (Space Brothers, Mysterious Girlfriend X, Gurazeni, Ace Attorney) is directing the series at Wit Studio.

The manga centers on 17-year-old high school student Akira Tachibana, a girl who rarely expresses herself. She secretly has a crush on Masami Kondo, the 45-year-old manager of the family restaurant where she works part-time.
