"Kono Kaisha ni Suki na Hito ga Imasu": New office romance anime starts in January 2025

The TV anime adaptation of Akamaru Enomoto's original work "Kono Kaisha ni Suki na Hito ga Imasu" ("There's Someone I Like in This Company") is set to air in January 2025. Along with the announcement of the broadcast date, the first promotional video was also revealed.

The anime's promotional video begins with a scene showcasing the blossoming relationship between employees Masanao Tateishi and Yui Mitsuya. The video highlights the secret office romance developing between the two, filled with heart-fluttering moments that will make you blush. It also hints at the impending discovery of their secret by their colleagues.

The main staff of the series has already been announced: Naoko Takeichi will serve as director, Masahiro Yokotani as the series composer, and Mina Osawa as character designer. The animation production will be handled by BLADE. The cast details have also been revealed: Seiichiro Yamashita will voice Masanao Tateishi, Yume Miyamoto will play Yui Mitsuya, Shizuka Ito will voice Shizuno Hayakawa (Tateishi's direct superior), Reo Tsuchida will play Keisuke Somei (Mitsuya's junior), and Yoko Daichi will voice Maria Morizono (Tateishi's junior).

"Kono Kaisha ni Suki na Hito ga Imasu" is a love story set in an office environment. It follows the hardworking thirtysomething Masanao Tateishi, who works in the accounting department of a confectionery company, and his spirited colleague Yui Mitsuya from the planning department. The original manga was serialized in Kodansha's "Morning" magazine.
