Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World 3rd Promo Video Featuring Machico's OP Revealed April 5th Premiere

On Tuesday, Kadokawa released the third promotional video for the upcoming TV anime Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!, written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. The video announces the opening and ending themes of the series: "Stay Free" by Machico and "Jump In" by Rie Takahashi and Aki Toyosaki. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 5.



The spin-off anime series will feature Rie Takahashi as Megumin, Aki Toyosaki as Yunuyun, Maria Naganawa as Komekko, Kaori Nazuka as Arue, Miyu Tomita as Funifura, Sayumi Suzushiro as Dodonko, Shizuka Ishigami as Nerimaki, Hitomi Nabatami as Chomusuke, and Mitsuhiro Sakamaki as Pucchin. The story revolves around Megumin and her Crimson Magic Clan.

Takaomi Kanasaki, the previous anime director, will serve as the chief director of the new series. Yujiro Abe will direct, while Makoto Uezu will be in charge of the series' scripts. Koichi Kikuta will return as character designer, and Masato Kōda will once again compose the music. The same team will also work on KonoSuba - God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3, the third TV anime season of the KonoSuba anime series.
