After a long wait, the divine creatures have blessed this wonderful world not just with one new animation project, but with two. The long-awaited third season of "Gods Bless This Wonderful World! (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! 3)" has been confirmed. Additionally, a prequel spin-off of Megumin's "Let This Wonderful World Explode!" has been announced.

Both series will be produced by Drive under the supervision of former main series director Takaomi Kanasaki, with Yujiro Abe at the helm. Makoto Uezu is once again in charge of series composition, and Koichi Kikuta returns as character designer.

Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!, also known by its shortened name Konosuba, adapts the comedy-fantasy light novel written by Natsume Akatsuki, originally published on the website Shousetsuka ni Narou from December 2012 to October 2013. The light novel concluded with its 17th volume in May 2020. Additionally, Masahito Watari began drawing a manga adaptation in Monthly Dragon Age in September 2014.

The first anime season aired on TV in January 2016, followed by the second season in January 2017.
