"Kowloon Generic Romance": Anime Launching in April 2025, New Details Revealed

The TV adaptation of Kowloon Generic Romance, based on the manga by Jun Mayuzuki, will begin airing in April 2025. Alongside the announcement of the start date, a teaser visual, a first trailer, and new information about the cast and production have been released.

The series is set in the nostalgic and mysterious city of Kowloon and revolves around Reiko Kujirai, who works at a real estate company. When she discovers that her colleague and crush Hajime Kudou has a fiancée who looks strikingly similar to her, a profound mystery unfolds. Forgotten memories, the enigma of her doppelgänger, and the secrets of Kowloon bring thrilling twists to this mix of mystery and romance. The manga is currently serialized in Weekly Young Jump (Shueisha).
