Kubo-san wa Mob o Yurusanai will be released in 2023

Kadokawa has released the first trailer for the anime adaptation of Kubo-san wa Mob o Yurusanai on its YouTube anime channel. The video, which is about half a minute long, reveals that the series based on Nene Yukimori's manga is set to air on Japanese television in 2023.



MANGA Plus publishes the manga digitally and describes the story as follows:

High school student Junta Shiraishi is a mob character who goes unnoticed even when standing right next to someone. But his classmate, the "heroine beauty" Kubo, always notices him and is there to tease him. Anyone can become special to someone, but it might still be a bit too early to call these feelings "love." Perhaps this story is still two steps away from being a romantic comedy—let's call it a sweet comedy where a background character becomes visible!
