Kubo-san wa Mob wo Yurusanai - Episode 1

"Kubo-san wa Mob wo Yurusanai" is a comedy series that explores the theme of introversion and extroversion through the character of the introverted high school student Shiraishi Junta, who is forced by his classmate Kubo Nagisa to participate more actively in class. The series approaches the topic with humor but also presents it in a relatable way.

The studio Pine Jam, known for its visually appealing retro style, has done a great job with this production, even under the direction of a relatively unknown director. The series shares some similarities with Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san, but the dynamics are different enough to reinterpret the story. The question of whether the female lead, Kubo Nagisa, is mean or nice is just as present in this series as it is in Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san.

However, the use of the concept of an "invisible" protagonist as a narrative device is not very believable in real life and does not represent the most interesting aspect of the series. The series has potential, but it needs to steer clear of clichés and focus on developing credible and natural relationships between its characters.
