Kuro no Tsuki: Tsuki no Saidan - "Black Moon: Altar of the Moon" announced

The anime adaptation project for the acclaimed webtoon "Black Moon: Altar of the Moon," a collaboration between the global group ENHYPEN and HYBE, has officially begun. The project was announced today, September 16, during the "Aniplex Online Fest 2024," with both a teaser image and promotional video released.

"Black Moon: Altar of the Moon" is based on an original story by HYBE and revolves around seven young men who encounter an exchange student at the prestigious Deselice Academy. The story explores their intertwined destinies and the secrets they uncover within the esteemed institution. Since its launch, the webtoon has achieved remarkable popularity, amassing over 190 million clicks worldwide by September 2024.

The recently released teaser image showcases the main characters in dynamic and expressive poses, highlighting their unique personalities and the complex relationships that drive the narrative. Complementing the visuals, the teaser video offers a glimpse into the vibrant animation style and engaging plot of the anime, teasing what viewers can expect from the upcoming series.

"Black Moon: Altar of the Moon" is being produced by Studio P.A.WORKS. Director Yuito Matsubayashi and character designer Yusuke Inoue expressed their excitement about bringing the popular webtoon to the screen.

The anime adaptation of "Black Moon: Altar of the Moon" is set to premiere in January 2025.
