Kuroiwa Medaka ni Watashi no Kawaii ga Tsuujinai: Cast update and new key visual released

For the upcoming anime adaptation of "Kuroiwa Medaka ni Watashi no Kawaii ga Tsuujinai," based on the original work by Kuze Ran, it has been announced that Kaori Maeda will play the role of Minami Shirahama. In connection with this, a new key visual and a character video for Minami have been released.

"Kuroiwa Medaka ni Watashi no Kawaii ga Tsuujinai" is a romantic comedy featuring Mona Kawai, a popular and pretty high school girl, and her interactions with the new transfer student Medaka Kuroiwa, who seems completely unfazed by her charm. Maeda's character Minami is a close friend of Asahi, a classmate who has feelings for Medaka. Minami always stands by Asahi's side and occasionally gives her advice, playing a supportive role in Asahi's story.

The new key visual depicts the six main characters—Medaka, Mona, Asahi, Tsubomi, Tomo, and Minami—together. The character video features a scene where Minami enters an empty classroom where Mona, Asahi, Tsubomi, and Tomo are gathered.
