Kuroneko to Majo no Kyōshitsu / The Witch's Classroom and the Black Cat – Production details revealed

Kaneda Yōsuke's manga Kuroneko to Majo no Kyōshitsu will be adapted into an anime series in 2026. Studio Liden Films is handling the production under the direction of Tatsurin Naomune (Monogatari Series).

The story follows Spica Virgo, a student without magical abilities, who gains access to sorcery through a pact with a formerly human black cat. In exchange for lessons, she assists him in searching for a solution to his transformation. The narrative blends school life developments with supernatural elements at the fictional Diana Magic Academy.
