After the dramatic escape from the factory, Ciel's group splits up: Finnian carries the weakened Sullivan through the dark forest, while Baldroy and Snake stay behind to hold off the pursuers. Meanwhile, Wolfram launches a large-scale offensive together with Grete Hilbard's military unit – with the goal of capturing or eliminating Sullivan at any cost.

In the shadows of the forest, Baldroy and Snake engage in a fierce ambush battle against Wolfram's troops. Baldroy relies on improvised explosives ("Jam Tin Bombs"), while Snake senses the enemy's movements through vibrations in the ground. Despite their resistance, Wolfram manages to break through the defense and resumes the pursuit.

At the same time, Finnian rushes through the thicket with Sullivan in his arms. In a flashback, it is revealed how Ciel once gave him his name: "Finnian" – after a Celtic hero, as a symbol of strength and speed. This memory gives Finnian new courage. With superhuman strength, he overcomes obstacles and enemy fire, determined to save Sullivan.

Meanwhile, Grete corners the remaining servants, but Tanaka sacrifices himself to allow Mey-Rin and especially Finnian and Sullivan to escape. At the same time, Sebastian continues the destruction of the gas factory.

The episode culminates in two decisive confrontations:

- Ciel is cornered by Wolfram, who holds him responsible for Sullivan's suffering.
- Unexpectedly, Diederich appears and confronts Ciel – he reminds him of a promise once made to Vincent Phantomhive.

By the end of the episode, the group is scattered in the forest: Finnian and Sullivan continue to flee, Ciel stands between Wolfram and Diederich, and the remaining servants fight scattered battles for survival. The outcome of the hunt remains open.
