The first episode of the TV anime series "Kusunoki's Garden of Gods" (Japanese: Kami no Niwatsuki Kusunoki-tei) is about to premiere. The creators have now released a plot summary and the first scene images.
The series begins on April 4th in the "NUMAnimation" programming block on TV Asahi and on 23 other stations in the nationwide network. The first episode is titled "The Mountain God Comes to the Garden of Gods" ("Kami no niwa ni yama no kami, kitaru").
The focus is on the young man Minato Kusunoki, who since childhood has been able to see things invisible to others. He is entrusted with managing a newly built house in the countryside. Shortly after, the god of the neighboring mountain, Yama-no-Kami, and the modern Onmyōji Saiga Harima appear in the attached garden. Released scene images show Minato in front of the courtyard gate and his encounter with the mountain god on the veranda.
Immediately before the broadcast, a live stream is planned for April 4th at 22:00 via the "Spaces" feature on the series' official X account (formerly Twitter). Voice actors Shōgo Sakata (Minato Kusunoki), Yoshiki Nakajima (Fūjin), and Daiki Kobayashi (Raijin) will participate.
