Meimei writes Maomao a letter about her mother's release and her wish for Maomao to dance for her, leading to a beautifully animated dance sequence.

Jinshi arrives, saves Maomao from falling off a wall, and takes her to his house for medical treatment after she injures her leg. The episode hints at a romantic moment between Jinshi and Maomao, which ends humorously when Maomao asks for a medicinal ingredient.
