The new TV anime series "20th Century Electric Catalog – Eureka Evrika" by Kyoto Animation will start on July 5, 2026. As announced at "AnimeJapan 2026," it will air in Japan on ABC TV, TV Tokyo, TV Aichi, and BS11. Simultaneously, the series will be streamed worldwide exclusively on Netflix.

Alongside the announcement, a second key visual and a second promotional video were released. The new PV offers the first glimpses of the character voices. Additionally, more voice actors and the music acts were revealed. Taichi Yagi (Haruha Kusanagi), Natsumi Kawaiida (Kate Okura), Kazuki Ura (Yajiro Yakura), and Daisuke Hirakawa (Izō Masubuchi) will lend their voices to the new characters.

The opening theme "Eureka Evrika" is by Luna Goami, who also wrote the lyrics, while composer Hitomi Koto is responsible for the series' music. The ending theme is contributed by the project Ginger Root by Cameron Lew.

In addition to the Japanese TV broadcasts, world premieres are planned from late May to early July in the UK, Thailand, Japan, and North America. The Japanese premiere will take place on June 14 at Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo. Director Minoru Ōta, along with the main voice actors Yuma Uchida (Kihachi Sakamoto) and Sora Amamiya (Inako Momokawa), will attend.

The series is set in early 20th century Kyoto, in an alternate world where only steam engine technology has developed. It centers on a boy who has lost his brother and a girl who looks back with longing and regret at her deceased mother – their meeting becomes the starting point of an adventure revolving around the mysterious "20th Century Electric Catalog."
