The anime adaptation of "Kyouran Reijou Nia Liston: Byoujaku Reijou ni Tensei shita Kamigoroshi no Bujin no Karei naru Musouroku" has announced three additional voice actors. Taku Yashiro takes on the role of Anzel, Youko Hikasa voices Fressa, and Satoshi Hino lends his voice to Gandolph Logen. New character visuals for the three characters were also released.

Anzel is a hired bodyguard from the underworld who has great confidence in handling magical weapons and, on orders from his client, seeks a fight against Nia. Taku Yashiro describes him as a cold-blooded, sober-minded chain smoker and explained that he initially portrayed the character deliberately without a strongly defined goal: Against the backdrop of an origin where merely surviving until the next day was life-threatening, a life without further aspirations seemed fitting to him. At the same time, he tried to capture the mindset of people who grew up in the underground world of the work.

Fressa is an assassin who relies on weapons hidden in her body and also works as a waitress at the tavern "Usuakari no Kagenezumi-tei." Youko Hikasa sees the appeal of the series mainly in the contrasts of the heroine: Within the delicate body of a young noblewoman resides the spirit of a warrior, which repeatedly creates an intriguing contradiction in visuals and dialogue. She described her character as sharp-witted and adaptable, who seeks to conceal her true abilities and longs for peace, but is inwardly bored by the stillness – "in a way, a great actress."

Gandolph Logen is a muscular, serious martial artist who serves as deputy instructor of the Tenpa school at the dojo of the Altwar Academy, teaching his students and enjoying high esteem for his skill. Satoshi Hino, who lends him his voice, praised the character as a diligent fighter who instructs children in martial arts while also radiating warmth and straightforwardness.

The story follows a hero who once defeated a god and wished for nothing more than to meet a worthy opponent. After his death, he awakens in the body of the sickly noblewoman Nia Liston and throws himself into battles in his second life: between academy daily life, appearances as a talent in the magic image industry, and the search for strong adversaries.

The source material comes from Umikaze Minamino and was first published as a web novel on the platform "Shousetsuka ni Narou" from May 2019 to January 2021. Since September 2022, Hobby Japan has been publishing the series under the HJ Bunko label; eleven volumes are now available, and according to official figures, more than 2.1 million copies of the series are in circulation. A manga adaptation by Kodai Kabuto has been published on Square Enix's platform Manga UP! since November 2022; the English translation of the novels is released via J-Novel Club.

Motoki Nakanishi is directing at KONAMI animation, Gigaemon Ichikawa is handling the series composition, the character design is by Yuuki Itou and Kana Tosaoka, and the music is composed by Naoki Endou. The title character Nia Liston is voiced by Honoka Inoue, with additional roles taken by Fuka Izumi, Rinna Honnizumi, and Rina Hidaka; the opening theme is performed by VTuber Watame Tsunomaki with the song "Respawn!!". The series was announced in January 2026, and at the end of July, the first key visual and a promotional video followed.

The broadcast start is set for October 6, 2026. TOKYO MX will air the series on Tuesdays from 21:25, along with MBS and BS Nippon TV. Already on September 22, an advance screening of the first three episodes will take place at the esports TOKYO BAY Studio in Tokyo, with Honoka Inoue, Fuka Izumi, and Taku Yashiro expected on stage. The second advance ticket sale for the event started on August 26.
