The winners of the 20th Seiyu Awards have been announced. At the ceremony on Sunday in Tokyo, Kikunosuke Toya and Shion Wakayama were honored with the award for best lead actors.

Toya received the award for his role as Denji in the film "Chainsaw Man – Reze Arc". Wakayama was awarded for her portrayal of Momo (Ayase Momo) in the anime series "Dandadan". The award honors voice actors who have shown outstanding performances as main cast members in works released during the reporting period.

The Seiyu Awards, established in 2006, are presented annually to honor outstanding voice artists and their works. This year, awards were given in 14 categories. The selection of winners in most categories was made by a committee, with only the MVS (Most Valuable Seiyu) award being determined by fan vote. Works released between October 1, 2024 and September 30, 2025 were considered.

In addition to the lead actors, Reina Ueda, Shinji Kawada and Mayumi Tanaka were among those awarded for best supporting roles. The rookie award was given to eight voice actors, including Momoka Terasawa, Yoshinori Nakayama and Minori Fujidera.
