Learn more about Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence

The official website for the anime "Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence" has been updated and now includes the first promotional trailer, a new visual, and information about additional voice actors. The series will premiere in April 2023.



The newly confirmed voice actors include Haruki Ishiya as Abel, Kanna Nakamura as Hazelita, Haruka Tomatsu as Mel, Mai Nakahara as Rebecca, and Makoto Koichi as Eric. The previously announced cast members Hime Sawada as Cecilia and Kaito Ishikawa as Lawrence round out the lineup. The anime is directed by Sumie Noro at Studio Doga Kobo, with Yuka Yamada handling the script and Hiromi Nakagawa adapting the character designs from Kazutake's original work. Ruka Kawada will compose the original soundtrack.

"Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence" is based on the manga of the same name by Hazano Kazutake, which has been serialized in Kodansha's "Shōnen Magazine R" since April 2017 and has so far been compiled into 10 volumes. The manga is also available through Kodansha's "Magazine Pocket" manga app.

Saint Cecilia is beloved by all, as she is not only elegant and composed but also willingly shares her wisdom with those who seek her guidance. However, everyone has now left, and Cecilia is utterly distraught. Only Pastor Lawrence helps her maintain her composure so she can fulfill her duties, even if she sometimes tests his patience.
