"Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero": Anime adaptation is in the starting blocks

In the summer, manga and anime fans can look forward to an exciting new addition to their watchlist. The highly anticipated adaptation of the Toufu manga "Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero" (Lv1 Maō to One Room Yūsha) has released its second promotional video, offering a glimpse of what's to come. Additionally, the reveal of the series' premiere dates and schedule was a major highlight.



The promotional video features snippets of the anime's theme song "Mirai=Teleport," masterfully performed by Nenne. The anime's release strategy is staggered, with a premiere set for July 3.

A seasoned team of anime industry veterans is handling the production. Keisuke Inoue, known for his work on previous popular anime series, is directing, while Toshiya Ono is in charge of the series' scripts. Yoshihiro Watanabe serves as the character designer, and R.O.N. is responsible for the music composition, ensuring the series will be a feast for both the eyes and ears.

The team also includes several other experienced specialists in key roles. Akiko Kikuchi acts as art director, and Miho Hasegawa is in charge of color design. Hideki Eto and Yūji Kondō handle cinematography and editing, respectively. For the anime's soundscape, sound director Toshiki Kameyama is responsible, while Nippon Columbia oversees audio production.

The anime's cast features well-known voices from the industry. Yūichi Nakamura, Naomi Ōzora, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Hiro Shimono, Ami Koshimizu, and Yōko Hikasa bring the characters Max, Demon Lord, Fred, Leo, Yuria, and Zenia to life with their performances. Additionally, the opening song "One Room Adventure" is performed by MADKID, and the ending song "Mirai=Teleport" is voiced by Nenne.
