The novel template "LV999 no Murabito" by Kozune Hoshizuki is being adapted into an anime series. The production is scheduled for the year 2026.
The plot takes place in the fantasy world Earthclear, a world of swords and magic, in which every human is born with a fixed role. The story follows Kōji Kagami, who, despite his role as a villager considered weak, has reached level 999. His path crosses with Alice, the daughter of the Demon King, and together with other companions, they work towards a peaceful coexistence of humans and demons.
For the voice acting of the main characters, Keishi Inomata as Kōji Kagami and Nao Tōyama as Alice have been hired. The direction of the series is handled by Yoshinobu Kasai, while Shinzo Fujita is responsible for the script development. The animation is produced by the studio Brain's Base.
A first visual teaser as well as a short promotional video with voices of the main characters have been released. In addition, a giveaway of signed illustrations by the voice actors is running via the official channels of the production.
The underlying light novel series comprises eight volumes. A comic adaptation by Kenichi Iwamoto reaches its preliminary climax with the 19th volume.
