According to the September issue of Kadokawa's Dengeki Daioh, the light novel series Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon (Jidōhanbaiki ni Umarekawatta Ore wa Meikyū ni Samayō) by Hirukuma will serve as the inspiration for a manga adaptation, set to appear in the next issue of the magazine on August 27. Kunieda, who also illustrates the manga for the fantasy light novel series DanMachi - Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, will take on the new series.

Yen Press describes the light novel series as follows:

A middle-aged man with only one passion in his life meets a fitting end in a traffic accident. At this point, most stories would conclude—but instead, his tale begins as he is reborn as the thing he admired most in life: a vending machine! Yet his new life(?) starts in the worst possible place—what can an immobile, speechless machine do in a monster-infested dungeon?
