Little Glee Monster controls new ending theme to Mix: Meisei Story Season Two

As part of their ongoing involvement in the anime series "Mix: Meisei Story," the female vocal group Little Glee Monster has confirmed that their song "Ima Kono Toki o" will serve as the ending theme for the second season of the anime, titled "Mix: Meisei Story -Nidome no Natsu, Sora no Mukou e-." The song is expected to be featured in the series starting in July.

During a concert in Chiba, the group announced their collaboration with the upcoming season of "Mix: Meisei Story." The band expressed that the stories written by "Mix" manga creator Mitsuru Adachi reflect "moments of growing up," a feeling they hope to convey with their new song. The members of Little Glee Monster aim to evoke these nostalgic moments through their music, leaving a lasting impression on listeners' hearts. This is not the group's first collaboration with the series, as they also performed the opening theme for the first season, "Kimi ni Todoku Made."

The second season of "Mix: Meisei Story" premiered on April 1. It continues the story after the summer of the characters' first year of high school. Returning cast members for this season include Yuuki Kaji as Tōma Tachibana, Yūma Uchida as Sōichirō Tachibana, Maaya Uchida as Otomi Tachibana, and Kana Hanazawa as Haruka Ōyama. On the production side, Tomohiro Kamitani has joined as the new director for the second season, while key staff members such as Atsuhiro Tomioka (series composition), Takao Maki (character design), and Norihito Sumitomo (music) have remained.

"Mix: Meisei Story" is a sequel to the 1985 baseball manga "Touch." The story focuses on stepbrothers Touma and Suichirou, key players on the Meisei High School baseball team. Along their journey, they confront a tragic legacy that gradually unfolds.
