Loner Life in Another World - Episode 5

In the fifth episode, Haruka and his classmates arrive in the lively city of Omui. While his classmates excitedly explore the bustling streets and shops, Haruka feels out of place and decides it's time to part ways. The group heads to the Adventurers' Guild to sell their collected magic crystals and register as adventurers. The girls are successfully admitted after having gained many levels and skills during their journey.

Haruka is summoned by the guild leader to thank him for rescuing another group. However, when he tries to register as an adventurer, he is rejected because he is below level 10 and cannot form a party due to his "Lone Wolf" ability. Frustrated, he realizes he cannot leave the city without a permit, which is only granted to registered adventurers.

After selling his magic crystals for eight million Ereh, Haruka visits a weapon shop recommended by the guild master. Thrilled by the unique items, he combines several to upgrade his equipment. Unintentionally, he racks up a debt of ten million Ereh, which he bargains down to eight million before spending all his money and ending up broke.

Determined to return to the forest, Haruka tries to sneak out of the city but is stopped by his observant classmates. On his second attempt, he manages to escape, only to soon hear someone calling for help. Initially reluctant, he encounters bandits attacking a noble girl named Merielle. With the help of his upgraded gear, he defeats the bandits.

Merielle, grateful for his aid, reveals that she is the daughter of Omui's lord and asks him to escort her back to the city. Haruka realizes he's returning to the place he wanted to leave and reluctantly agrees. The episode ends with Haruka accidentally entangled in new obligations in Omui.
