Loner Life in Another World - Episode 6

In Episode 6, Haruka is invited to Lord Omui's mansion to express his gratitude for rescuing the lord's daughter from bandits. He receives a financial reward and an identification card bearing his name, granting him free access to the city. Despite this honor, Haruka yearns for solitude and decides to return to the forest. Before his departure, he sells his magic crystals, stocks up on supplies, enjoys a meal other than mushroom dishes, and leaves a message for the class representative.

Back in the forest, Haruka notices unusual signs: orcs approaching the edge of the woods and bloodstains on the ground. He discovers the injured athletes, who inform him that Tanaka, a classmate and mathematical genius, has turned hostile. Tanaka is manipulating the delinquents, has killed other classmates, and is searching for the class representative's "Hijack" ability, which allows the user to steal others' skills by killing them. Determined to protect his classmates, Haruka decides to confront Tanaka alone and sends the athletes back to the city to warn the others.

Haruka begins intense training in the forest, battling high-level monsters to increase his level and develop new skills. By creatively combining his weak abilities, he invents new "homemade" skills that exploit the weaknesses of powerful weapon techniques. Meanwhile, the class representative and other girls grow concerned about Haruka's absence but continue their own preparations.

The episode culminates in a confrontation between Haruka and Tanaka in the forest. Tanaka reveals his betrayal and intentions, dismissing Haruka as insignificant due to his weak abilities. Unfazed, Haruka remains resolved to protect those who matter to him—even as a loner. The two prepare for the impending battle.
