Loner Life in Another World - Episode 7

In Episode 7, Haruka faces a fierce duel against Tanaka, who has secretly been scheming his own plans. Tanaka reveals his ambition to become the most powerful fighter by using his copy ability to take over his classmates' skills and ultimately steal the most powerful talents, including the class president's "Hijack" ability.

Although Haruka is left with only the supposedly "worst abilities," he cleverly uses his Meddle and Dummy skills to counter Tanaka's attacks. He discovers that Tanaka can only use each copied ability a limited number of times, which proves to be a weakness in Tanaka's strategy. Thanks to his high luck stat and resistance to negative effects, Haruka survives Tanaka's attempt to eliminate him with the "Death" ability.

The battle intensifies as Tanaka unleashes a barrage of weapon skills, but Haruka recognizes his attack patterns and adapts. In a decisive moment, Haruka uses his improvised ability, which exhausts his magical reserves but secures his victory over Tanaka. Exhausted and wounded, he is found by his concerned classmates, who express regret for once excluding him and thank him for his bravery.

The class president, relieved by Haruka's return, urges him to rejoin the group. Despite his inclination toward solitude, Haruka is moved by their care. The episode ends with Haruka contemplating how to balance his life as a loner with his newly formed bonds to his classmates, as they return together, hinting at a cautious reconciliation.
