“Look Back” – The film adaptation starts streaming worldwide on November 8th

The animated film "Look Back," based on the work of Tatsuki Fujimoto, will be available worldwide exclusively on Prime Video starting November 8. Along with this announcement, a new key visual drawn by the film's director, Kiyotaka Oshiyama, was released. The image depicts a scene where the characters Fujino and Kyomoto are lying on a bed in Fujino's room. Kyomoto is the first reader of Fujino's completed manuscript and appears deeply impressed by their work.

Look Back premiered on June 28 in 120 Japanese theaters, expanded to more cinemas due to its popularity, and ultimately earned over 2 billion yen.

Director Oshiyama expressed excitement about the film's availability on Prime Video, mentioning that the streaming format allows viewers to watch the film repeatedly and explore its many layers, including hidden references. Fujimoto also thanked Oshiyama and composer Haruka Nakamura, praised their contributions, and encouraged fans to watch the animated film on the biggest screen possible.
