"Lv2 Cheat: Chillin' in Another World With Level 2 Super Cheat Powers" new cast and second trailer for the upcoming anime revealed

The upcoming TV anime "Lv2 Cheat: Chillin' in Another World With Level 2 Super Cheat Powers" has been announced for a broadcast starting in April 2024. Along with this announcement, a new visual and the second trailer have been released.

The anime is based on the fantasy story of a young merchant named Banaza, who is summoned to another world as a "hero candidate" but is initially banished to a remote forest because his Level 1 abilities are only average. However, when he reaches Level 2, he gains extraordinary powers. He changes his name to Friio and enters a temporary marriage with Fenris, a daughter from the Fang Wolf tribe whom he meets in this new world.

The new visuals feature contrasting illustrations of a cheerful Fenris reaching out her hand and a desperate Friio stretching out his. The second video, which begins with the summoning scene of Friio, introduces various characters and many new scenes. The ending theme for the anime is "Utopia Gaku Gairon" by DIALOGUE+, produced by Tomoya Tabuchi of UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, who also contributed a comment.

Further cast details have also been revealed. The roles include Valirossa from the Order of Knights of the Klylord Magic Kingdom, voiced by Aya Yamane, Blossom by Mari Hino, Bireley by Yuki Hirose, and Bellano by Nene Hieda. The blond hero summoned alongside Friio is played by Taishi Murata, while his companion Tsuya is voiced by Mikako Takahashi. The first princess of the Klylord Magic Kingdom, who summoned Friio and the others, is portrayed by Ayako Kawasumi, and Friio's pet Sabea is voiced by Yuka Iguchi.
