"Ma-Otoko no Ichi" appears for the first time in Weekly Shonen Jump

The new manga series "Ma-Otoko no Ichi," with the original story by Osamu Nishi, known for "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun," and illustrated by Shiro Usazaki, began its continuation in the 41st issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, released on September 9.

"Ma-Otoko no Ichi" is a fantasy story about Ichi, a young hunter living in the mountains. In the world where Ichi resides, magic exists in the form of living beings, and the people known as witches strive to master it by overcoming various difficult trials posed by these magical creatures, such as "drinking a large amount of water" or "embracing fire for an hour." The story takes a dramatic turn when the "King of Magic" and the most powerful witch engage in a fierce battle. A promotional video was also released to mark the series' debut.
