Made in Abyss season 2 with new trailer, premieres July 6th

The publisher Kadokawa has revealed a new trailer for the anime Made in Abyss: Retsujitsu no Ōgonkyō (Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun). The first episode will be released on July 6. The series will adapt the Ilblu arc (chapters 39-60). The trailer also features the title song "Endless Embrace" by MYTH&ROID. Riko Azuna sings the opening song "Katachi," which was already heard in the previous trailer.



In the story of Made in Abyss, a massive pit and cave system called the "Abyss" is the only unexplored place in the world. In its depths live strange and wondrous creatures, and it is filled with valuable relics that modern humanity cannot replicate. The mysteries of the Abyss fascinate people, and they set out to explore it. The adventurers who dare to enter the pit are known as "Cave Raiders." A small orphan girl named Riko lives in the town of Ōrth on the edge of the Abyss. Her dream is to become a Cave Raider like her mother and unravel the secrets of the cave system. One day, Riko begins exploring the caves and discovers a robot that resembles a human boy.
