'Madome' Reveals Additional Cast Members and Main Promo Video

The TV anime "How Should I Care for My Elf Bride Slave as the Demon Lord?", also known as "Madome," will air in April on TOKYO MX, MBS, and BS Asahi. This announcement was accompanied by the release of key visuals, the first main promotional video, details about the opening song, and additional cast members.

"Madome" is based on the light novel by Fumi Teshima and is a romantic fantasy comedy that tells the story of Zagan, a clumsy and uncouth sorcerer feared as an evil wizard. The plot begins when Zagan, invited by a friend to a grim auction, falls in love at first sight with an elf girl named Nephie. In the anime, Yusuke Kobayashi voices Zagan, while Kana Ichinose plays Nephie.

The newly announced cast includes Kanana Hishikawa as Chastille, a holy knight known as the "Maid of the Holy Sword"; Kisho Taniyama as Barbaros, a sorcerer and Zagan's friend; Akane Misaka as Foll, a dragon girl; Tetsu Inada as Raphael, a feared "Sorcerer Hunter" with the title "The Most Dreadful," a holy swordsman; and Ayasa Ito as Manuela, an employee of the clothing store Cure Noeid. Tomoyuki Morikawa will narrate the series' story.

The opening theme song, "Wakaranai Ai" by The Brow Beat, was also revealed. The first promo video features the voices of the characters Zagan and Nephie, voiced by Kobayashi and Ichinose respectively, as well as the voices of the newly announced characters and Morikawa's narration. The video also includes a snippet of the title melody.

The first key visual shows Zagan using magic to protect Nephie, as well as the characters Chastille, Barbaros, Foll, and Raphael.

The anime is directed by Hiroshi Ishiodori, with series composition by Aya Yoshinaga. Animation production is handled by Brain's Base.
