"Maebashi Witches"-New original TV anime starts in April with the main visual and preview video

The original TV animation "Maebashi Witches" will premiere on April 6. A key visual and a detailed preview video were released alongside the announcement.

The anime is set in the city of Maebashi in Gunma Prefecture and follows the story of five high school girls who set out to become real witches. The plot focuses on themes of youth, growth, and music. The key visual depicts the characters singing and dancing in a magical world known as the "Witchverse"—a central element of the story. The preview video showcases detailed backgrounds and scenes featuring the "Witches."

"Maebashi Witches" is produced by SUNRISE Studios, the in-house animation studio of Bandai Namco Filmworks. Junichi Yamamoto directs the series, while the screenplay and series composition are handled by Erika Yoshida.

The main cast is as follows:

- Kyouka Kitahara – voiced by Reina Motomura

- Choco Mitsumata – voiced by Haruka Minami

In addition to nationwide broadcasters like TOKYO MX and BS11, the anime will also air on Gunma TV.
