A new anime television series from the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha franchise has been announced for a July start. The series bears the subtitle EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance.
The plot introduces new main characters. At the center is high school student Shiina Kunase, voiced by Akisa Tachibana, who lives on a remote island and fights dangerous creatures. Her younger sister Setsuna, portrayed by Rina Hidaka, as well as the mysterious Towaya Yomi, voiced by Asaki Yūkawa, who acts as a kind of magical authority, are further protagonists.
