The anime adaptation of "Mahō Shōjo Ikusei Keikaku restart" (engl. Magical Girl Raising Project Restart) has been announced for the year 2026. A first promo video was released for the announcement.
Studio SynergySP is responsible for the production. Hiroyuki Hashimoto serves as the director, while Takaaki Yoshioka is in charge of series composition and scripts. The character designs are created by Masako Itō.
The plot is based on the light novel series by Asari Endō, which revolves around sixteen magical girls who are informed by the organizers that their number is to be halved. A tough competition for the remaining spots begins. The original "Magical Girl Raising Project" series already received an anime adaptation in 2016 and was later supplemented by further media projects such as reading dramas.
